I've spent 16 years working as an electrician, and most of that time with my hands inside panels, generators, and wiring that other people had given up on. Living at the Lake of the Ozarks, I've seen what this place does to a home's electrical system. Ice storms that take the power out for days. Summer lightning that cooks control boards. Weekend cabins from the 1970s running loads they were never wired for. After 16 years, there isn't much behind a panel cover that surprises me anymore.

I started Honeybee Home Services because I kept watching homeowners here make three phone calls for what should be one. An electrician for the panel, an appliance company for the fridge, and somebody else for the gas line on the generator. I hold licenses in both electrical and gas, the business is fully bonded and insured, and our appliance and HVAC tech John Amaro brings six years of his own experience to the team. So one call really does cover it. We also recycle and dispose of old panels, wiring, and appliances responsibly instead of sending everything to the landfill, because we live here too.
